Well, we live close to a port city (Ft. Lauderdale) so cruises are pretty inexpensive if staying in the Carribean. Initially I too was opposed to them, but truth is I have now been on two, enjoyed them both and feel I got good value for my $$. Course we go as a group in our JEEP CLUB, we get discounted fares cause we take usually 8-10 cabins, we book a year ahead of time, and knowing others aboard probably adds to the enjoyment. jdn
