Anyone familiar with Shaw Wu or American TEchnology Research? At the end of this article it states that he has a BUY on DELL:

"Caution Urged on H-P Stock"
Mary Crane, 05.15.06, 8:31 AM ET

Shaw Wu, an analyst for American Technology Research, maintained his "hold" rating on shares of Hewlett-Packard ahead of Tuesday's earnings announcement when the software company is expected to report earnings of 49 cents per share.

H-P (nyse: HPQ - news - people ) is expected to beat the upper end of its revenue guidance, which ranges from $22.4 billion to $22.5 billion, boosted by better cost controls and restructuring, as well as improved profitability in its Personal Systems Group, Enterprise Storage and Servers unit and software business.

Still, American Technology Research remained cautious on H-P stock, concerned with the company's slow top-line growth rate of 4% to 6%.

"We maintain our 'hold' rating as we believe upside from current levels is not enough to justify a 'buy' rating," wrote the analyst in a recent note.

The analyst forecasted earnings of 50 cents per share on revenues of $22.8 billion for the quarter.

He also estimated full-year earnings of $2 per share on revenues of $91.5 billion in 2006, up from $1.95 per share on revenues of $91.2 billion, and full-year 2007 earnings of $2.20 per share on revenues of $95.6 billion, up from $2.10 per share on $95.1 billion.

Shaw Wu added that, in his view, Dell (nasdaq: DELL - news - people ) still offers a better value at current levels and he rates the company's stock, currently valued at $24.25, as "buy."
