Peter,
I think it is terrific that the stock is doing so well while the analysts are lukewarm. It implies that they haven't bought yet, so there is lots of buying power in addition to Adobe's own buyback plans. Don't forget that this stock has essentially done nothing since it took its big fall back in January 1996. It has a big base to work from, it is underowned, few people have big expectations of it in the near term, it has plenty of cash and a sterling balance sheet (not to mention their unrealized investment gains), a strong product line--these are classic ingredients for a much larger than expected rise.

I sold about half my holdings in the mid-40s last June or so (I forget exactly when), to buy another stock I was big on but didn't have enough investable cash to buy. Since the other stock has doubled since then, I am glad I did, but I am also glad that I held onto some Adobe. Its going up strong.
