Kerry made the one speech. That is not remaining silent. It was appropriate. McCain did the same thing. One speech.

Again, you are blaming the victims instead of the criminals. Exactly what dishonest Bushies want you to do, so you have fallen into their trap.

Those to blame are the Bush smear jockeys especially Rove, the media for listening to them for one minute and then weak-minded individuals who either believe a word of it or blame the target instead of the perps.

There is no right way to respond to a smear campaign, get it? It's like answering the question "Do you still beat your wife?" No right answer. Unless you can pin the smears on your opponent and Rove was careful to remove his fingerprints from the crime.

Finally, name one politician who has ever successfully defeated a smear campaign against him. In the history of the US. Name one.
