You aren't listening/reading what I'm saying. You are too much of a charicature to be taken seriously. You are about as "on target" as a Donald Duck can get.

I recommend you try to assess other reader's opinion of your presentation before you determine whether your message is effective (as I think you want it to be). You say you are "on target". Have your readers agreed? If not, you probably aren't.

Being "on target" in your own mind and only in your own mind may indicate a lack of perception between what you think you are conveying, and what is actually being received.
