You demonstrated what you know about the limits of physics and neuron activity, which was not much and as educated people should know, there is always more to learn. However, like most true believing arrogant lab cloak clerics, you over simplified your proofs. Much that we know of and can observe as ‘life’ has nothing to do with neuron activity.

The issue for science should be simply to designate a line where the physically observable is termed as fact and the theoretical or not observed is given its own realm. So it is fine with me if you want to draw a line that marks a limit on the observations of physical phenomenon (at this point in time). However, if that was a limit on understanding life we would not even have reached the stone age of tool use.

You and I don’t know what is beyond physical and temporal things, except to the extents that we are self aware and such things are self evident. However it can easily be demonstrated that the limits of physics as a science is proof in and of itself that there is existence beyond the temporal.

If you want to use physics as evidence of something, fine. Just don’t present your beliefs as proof and expect to get away with it.
