My reaction:

Make it easier for SKILLED and EDUCATED people to immigrate here. Make it harder for UNSKILLED and ILLITERATE people. If they want to work, apply for a guest worker visa IN MEXICO. Hold Mexico accountable for the problem.

I am not too sympathetic to big farm corporations capitalizing on cheap foreign labor. I'll pay more for lettuce if I have to, or stop eating it. The way it is, lettuce is cheap because most of the costs are off line, social, crime, welfare, etc.
