Rob,R4640 150 Mhz $30 , R4640 180 Mhz $39.95 in 10k lots.
The WebTv Plus runs at 167 Mhz .

The WebTv product may very be the internet access device for the
non pc majority.Heck you put enough features in it for 300 or
400 bucks and it becomes a no brainer. From my experience in the
computer business(quite a bit of it IT type programming)most
people just want to get the functionality and do not want to
learn about how the machine works. They just want to plug it
in and turn it on.The WebTv group seem to have figured this
out.I was really impressed with the WebTv infomercial. They
have the price point and the needed fucntionality along with
the ease of use..

Now what does this do to the sub 1,000 consumer pc market?

IMO the WebTv type devices followed by digital tv with
WebTv functionality integrated into it will be the real
winners. Most people want something in between.Less
complicated than a pc and more interesting/interactive
than a tv remote .
