Why are we continuing to bring in unskilled labor??? VOTES!! It would be smarter to bring the highest skilled people we can, and they could immediately start earning higher salaries and paying taxes. For the other end of the scale, wouldn't it be smarter to have machines pick the beans, strawberries, and whatever else??? Strawberries could be grown on 3-4' tables with boxes of soil for the strawberries....no more stoop labor.... Seems to me that machines to pick the veggies and fruits would be more cost effective, than allowing ILLEGALS in with all the families of kids, moms and pops, aunts and uncles, cousins, etc etc etc.... Get the type of workers who will contribute to our society...not the ones who continue are an 'attachment' to it....
