Dave, I don't know why you have this negative impression of MTSN. According to the annual survey conducted by VLSI Research Inc., the leading research firm covering the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry, MTSN ranked 3rd this year in overall customer satisfaction. And, among suppliers of photoresist strip systems, MTSN ranked number 1 this year in 4 categories and number 2 in 2 other categories.
Regarding your claim that they lost Micron due to poor service and support, that is an exaggeration. There was a dispute regarding the specs of some of the equipment, and that was an isolated incident, not a typical situation for MTSN. It was the worst case scenario. You can't win 'em all. Other companies love their products, like Texas Instruments for example.
Regarding your belief that MTSN will lay off people, that is always a possibility at any time. But, as for right now, they are in the process of hiring.
