MQ, stop disagreeing with TJ! He says that tech's center of gravity was the USA and he's right.

Because the USA had a strong Venture Capitalist clique not replicated elsewhere.

Europeans did not jump 'com gusto' into tech but rode the tech wave and milk it. (For proof See please Spectrum auction and 3G Nirvana)

Further, Americans are masters in market a sector, they dominate the media has English language that any Indonesian Thai or Mlayisian could understand, has Hollywood...

(Compare us with Ethanol, we can't use a machine as powerful as the US to sell the concept).

US acted as a magnet and attracted a lot of brain power plus H1B migrants to use as cannon fodder for the tech boom.

Please drop tech and think materials...
