Speaking of which, a point I should clarify for everyone. I am getting complaints that criticizing Bush is partisanship beyond the TOU here.

As the thread header clearly states, the thread is here for the center to critique both the incumbent rightwing administration and the current Democratic leadership and candidates. It's inevitable that in a country where 2/3-3/4 of the people disagree with the direction that the country is going, Bush will come in for some rough treatment.

I consider blanket insults of all Republicans or all conservatives to be mindless partisanship. Taking Bush to task for his record in office is not. Same thing with Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid's voting records and statements. Hold them accountable for every word they utter. But don't dismiss "the left" without clarifying exactly which people and policies you are talking about.
