Geron Corporation to Present at the Bank of America Healthcare Conference

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2006--Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN - News) will present an update of the company's product development programs at noon PDT on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at the Bank of America Healthcare Conference in Las Vegas.

The update of Geron's portfolio of telomerase-based anti-cancer therapies will include information about GRN163L and GRNVAC1. The presentation will also include reviews of the company's human embryonic stem cell research in spinal cord injury (GRNOPC1), diabetes (GRNIPC1) and heart disease (GRNCM1). Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., Geron's president and chief executive officer, will deliver the presentation.
