Teddy Roosevelt does deserve high marks, except for one thing. Like GW and LBJ, he started a war in Cuba based on a lie. William Raldolph Hearst helped do that.

Then, did you know that Teddy never charged up San Juan Hill? That was the equivalent of Bush's phony photo op pretending to land the jet on the aircraft carrier. Frederic Remington created that myth with his famous painting. But Teddy never led the troops at all, he remained safely in the rear. He did like to shoot and ride though. He was a big game hunter until he realized we needed to preserve nature and not destroy it. So he created the National park system, which Bushies now want to loot and pillage.

GW Bush says Teddy is his favorite presdient, but Roosevelt would be very-very disappointed with Bush.
