:-) I think you can look at polls to find the general center. I realize that may be more threatening to some folks than to others- but if a majority of the people believe something, that's probably the closest you can get to the idea of a centrist ideology embraced by citizens of the US. You could also define centrist as a way of looking at issues- as a way of trying to even handedly approach things- and that is NOT (imo) going to be embraced by a majority of the population. Of course I'm a lefty, so what do I know? I think I need to put "I'm a lefty" in all my posts- so people can be assured I'm well aware of my own political leanings. Saying it ever 40th post (or so) doesn't seem to be enough.
