I have mentioned the basic equation of US politics before, about a third each left and right and a third or a touch more in the middle. No issue can climb over 50% without the center's support, it is mathematically impossible. So if you follow the basic positions where a majority holds a clear view, you are tracking the political center. I'll make it even easier. Folks, please explain why this thread is left of center. The floor is open. Please be specific.
