I'm glad they're not charging for the software upgrade after all. I hope that one of their motives is to lessen the sting for early 770 adopters when a significant hardware upgrade rolls out. Actually, I was fearing that they were going to announce a new hardware model today, without much hardware improvements over the 770. Hopefully, Nokia will address mundane issues such as a faster processor and more memory; they certainly know about these issues. They need to do a better job than they did with the N-Gage follow on, in my opinion.
