Wrong. Communism in its pure form would entail a benevolent government by the people.

But it only works in theory, in practice it always seems to turn into a dictatorship which is more like fascism. Plus making the rich give up what they have and share it is a major problem. Although it's exactly what Jesus Christ mandated.

I am against communism, by the way, very much so. But only because in reality it just replaces one unfair boss class or tyrant with another.

So the best solution is a compromise, a free democracy where every vote counts, capitalism and free enterprise are encouraged, but there are firm checks and balances and to make sure power isn't abused, the people have rights and the rich don't get to hoard too much. Or else society turns into a seething cauldron of bitterness where only a few people can live in freedom and prosperity. Sort of like a plantation.
