wfrazee, Impressive! I'm looking forward to having my cable TV operator offering this service! As far as I can gather, the telephone modem speed is the weak part of the chain. Not particularly in sending, but especially in reveiving data. I deduct from the CAA-info, that data transmitted from the host you're looking up is sent at higher speeds than the "ordinary" modem can cope with. Cable modem seems simply to be a much wider door for data to enter in your own computer. Must be a huge market out there for this kind of application: Any surfers agony in spelt by the word TIME.
