But if you could manage it without taking anyone's property away, say by entering a virgin land and divvying up equally, it works just fine. I would assume people would take some property with them, but maybe that's to small of factor to worry about. There are still two problems. You are taking away there right to have property. If the government didn't take away any of my current property but told me I could never get any new property it would still be an injustice. The other problem is that it wouldn't work fine. The amount of wealth that would be produced would be significantly lower, and so the new nation carved out of this virgin land would be much poorer than a similar nation with a free market system but otherwise identical conditions.
