striking at INTC marketing would make sense. Excellent timing - analysts seem to be running scared right now amidst all the pent-up tension regarding Cointreau(Ross et al. vs. S&P, performance crown vs. average performance/ASP). I particularly liked the guy accusing AMD for not slashing prices. Bad dog! ;-) Well, they slashed in 2001, and things went down the drain. Different situation then. There seems to be a lot of momentum building up, key issues being HT and the good old coprocessors. No idea which one is more important (gut feeling: plug-in stuff for graphics, Java, XML or the like could be a real killer). Just my 2 cents... BTW, I'm failing to understand why this Ross guy is complaining about Q1 inventories?! Just another case of MCD?
