How many Soviet spies did McCarthy bust? Name one. Versus the tens of thousands of innocent Americans whose lives he ruined for no good reason other that persecution of liberal-minded people, artists, union organizers or those who dared to question the rightwing military-industrial complex. If McCarthy had his way we would be a fascist nation now. Make no mistake where that was headed.
