Peter, No. At the time, for whatever reason, my brother was glad and relieved to see me take possession of the still. What does surprise me is that even when he was well out of his teens, he never asked me to return the still to him, its rightful owner. Had he asked, I would have done so.

I would surmise that during The Great Depression, at least during its early years, stills were quite valuable commodities. - Holly
