do you know what the upgrade cost for one of those is? $500 canadian dollars as per dell.ca and you don't know that it is even in stock unless you confirm the order. Nothing above 2.0ghz at tigerdirect.ca....... I did manage to find a few listings at pricewatch and all (5) but one of them were through a company called Xtreme notebooks (the other was a Sony). AMD will have no trouble selling as many Turion X2 as they can make and hurt Intel ASPs in the process. Things will get really interesting when they are being fabbed at 65nm on 300mm wafers; if Mr. de Vries is correct and they end up getting 5 times the number of die candidates as an 8 inch wafer at 90nm, they could cut their price in half and still double revenue. What do you suppose that would do to Intel's market share/ASPs/stock price?

It will be interesting to see which X86 semiconductor manufacturer exits 2007 with the highest return per square mm of silicon produced. I'm betting that it isn't Intel
