You know very well, that memory performance is crucial for
AMD, so when you put a stop in just to egalize Intels settings
its clear that you loose some points, especially when it
comes to DDR-II, we know that latency is one of the key
driver. I'm not sure, if the OEMs will tweak DRAM that big,
but a 1T command rate should be a default setting. Its the
first review and we have to wait for other ones. As I said,
the platform has a way to go compared to the good Intel
one, the biggest strengths at the company. As I also said
already, I don't say AMD taking the lead here fast, thats
near impossible, but I think more of market presence in that
space, where AMD had a HUGE disadvantage. No business wins,
near, mostly Consumer and there LOW-END (mostly). So with
the X2 AMD will and could in ADDITIONAL markets, thats it.
You will be surprised how fast AMD will gain share here in
Q3 - be prepared.

Edit:
I'm quite happy with this 90nm product compared to 65nm Intel
ones - so I'm more interested to see 65nm AMD X2 Notebook
stuff at the end of the year. ;-)
I'm waiting for the Intel fans, if they still laugh ...
