No they didn't. (VZ implied that the records they turned over were long distance records, from their now wholly owned MCI division.) Believe story will be similar with AT&T operations (bought by SBC, which then adopted the AT&T name). I further point: why should we --- the public --- believe ANYTHING some press flack for these guys says? They KNOWN it's their bacon in the fire --- they are trying to tamp down the fire and SAVE PROFITS. When their EXECUTIVES are placed UNDER OATH in a federal court room, and so testify, THEN we may have some assurances as to truthfulness.
