TP, Lets say Al Gore tossed out 100 billion dollars on spotted owl preserves. That's still three times better than the money wasted for nothing in Iraq.

Would Gore even have invaded Afghanistan after 9/11?

Would Saddam still be in power, getting money from the "Oil for Palaces" program?

Would Gore have gotten us out of the recession, or would he have prolonged it by raising taxes?

Best thing that could have happened under a Gore administration would have been deadlock between it and a GOP Congress. Then at least the budget wouldn't be going anywhere. But that says little about the competency of a Gore administration.
