You mean the raw wafer cost? Probably. IIRC, a 200mm wafer costs about $50. So a 300mm wafer costing $200 wouldn't be a shock. Now if you are talking about a processed wafer costing 3x to 4x, I am pretty certain that is wrong. I'd have to see a link for that.

That shouldn't be a surprise either. They didn't start to ship until at or after the quarter closed. It takes roughly 13 weeks to process and package a wafer. Given that there isn't any real point in shipping the first few dribbles off the line, the tendency is to save them up for a few weeks after those first few wafer outs.
