It's no accident Bushies like Coulter are trying to resurrect and white-wash Joe McCarthy's memory. It's what the Coulter types dream of, that the rightwing could take total power, dismantle democracy, take over the press, restrict free speech and start ruining the lives of critics and liberals of all stripes by persecuting them, accusing them of treason and putting some of them in prisons. I also distinctly remember rightwing talk hosts refering to peace-marchers in 2003 as "evil". What could be further from the truth?
