New 9/11 Video From Pentagon Released
The US Department of Defense released two video tapes today showing American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the Pentagon. The videos were released in response to an Information Act request and related lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a public interest group. The two time-lapse videos were filmed by Pentagon security cameras and appear to be the source of still images previously released to the public. American Airlines Flight 77, a Boeing 757-223, slammed into the western side of the Pentagon at 9:37 am local time on September 11, 2001. All 58 passengers and 8 crew died as well as another 125 people on the ground.

The Pentagon crash has been the focus of much speculation. A number of alternate theories have put forward the notion that the damage to the Pentagon was not caused by a plane crash. Some of these other ideas believe the Pentagon was struck by a truck bomb or a missile. It remains to be seen if this latest video will put some of this speculation to rest.
