You should be ashamed of yourself. That's truly evil.

Prince William Sound is one of God's greatest creations. I spend six weeks there in a wilderness course as a teenager. How gloriously pristine and perfect it was. But savage too. You could reach into the water and grab a salmon. Killer whales, bears, otters and bald eagles and the water roiling with fabulous sealife. God's greatest fishery. the cradle of life for a big part of the ocean.

Exxon Valdez poisoned and killed countless parts of that ecosystem. Now we have salmon farms to try and compensate, but Alaska is being raped and pillaged mercilessly, and the oil companies who have bribed every politician there could give a damn about the damage they are causing.

The Exxon Valdez never should have been in Prince William Sound to begin with. It was an act of gross negligence.

You are a perfect poster boy for exactly why we need to stand up to big oil, regulate them and challenge them on their lies and greed. We do need their oil for now, but we must make sure we need it less and less and less until we don't need it at all except for plastics and lubricants. And in the meantime, windfall profits taxes, investigations into gouging and indictments of those responsible. All the way up to Dick Cheney, if possible.
