Bobo, this might only be temporarily true. Its true that Ascend currently relies on a non-programmable Rockwell dsp for its modem technology, but Rockwell is also currently shipping re-programmable dsp based modem chipsets (of which Zoom is currently a user). I would think once Ascend becomes comfortable with this "new" (for Rockwell) chipset, they will be on roughly equal footing with the others.
