Actually I think I was being very objective. People have been complaining about the Mexican border situation for years. But why the sudden interest now? I agree with you that Bush does not really want to send troops to the Mexican border. I also believe that it will accomplish nothing and that the resources can be put to better use elsewhere. And I think that Bush believes this too...and yet he chooses to send the troops to border anyway. Do you believe that the poll I quoted was not the major factor in that decision?
