Absolutely. Huge issue. I don't think anyone knows how the numbers cut on this one. There are industries that will be whacked; costs will definitely go up- but how much, and which costs? Will there be more jobs for Us citizens? Or will prices go up, and the jobs disappear with slowing demand caused by rising prices? I get the feeling people aren't even trying to tackle these issues. I know they are complex, but that's all the more reason to try to get some handle on them. I hate the idea that the government is just flailing in a sea of possibilities no one has taken the trouble to understand.
