You might really want to watch the video I linked. The John F. Kennedy situation with Cuba had very similar overtones. At least you then might not dismiss the possibility out of hand.

Again, I am not saying that I have a clue how all this happened but I go along with what Heinz said, there are conspiracy theories by ALL parties and we haven't even come close to the final truth yet. How one can trust a version from a government that has lied time, after time, after time on every important unpleasant subject from WMD, NSA, Abu Ghraib and on and on, is far beyond me.
