but Rockwell is also currently shipping re-programmable dsp based modem chipsets (of which Zoom is currently a user). I would think once Ascend becomes comfortable with this "new" (for Rockwell) chipset, they will be on roughly equal footing with the others. Is that really a different chip or just fanfare from Zoom to tout the software upgradeability of Rockwell's 56k chip?
