Gary I saw in the database UTR to split on Oct 15. Could you please check this again. I found this info. Does on or about Oct 13 mean that they are sure now of Oct 13

Unitrode to hold special meeting to increase authorized shares; announces stock split pending outcome

by Business EditorsAug 5 1997 4:57PM CST, BUSINESS WIREMERRIMACK, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- August 5, 1997-- Unitrode Corporation (NYSE-UTR) today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has called a Special Meeting of Stockholders to be held on September 29, 1997 for the purposes of considering and voting on an increase in the total number of authorized shares of stock from 31 million shares to 101 million shares and in the number of authorized shares of Common Stock from 30 million shares to 100 million shares. Stockholders will also consider and vote on a proposal to reduce the par value of the Company's Common and Preferred Stock to $.01 per share. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on August 25, 1997 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. Contingent upon stockholder approval of the additional shares, the Board authorized a stock split to be effected in the form of a 100 percent dividend of one share for each share of the Company's Common Stock outstanding to stockholders of record as of the close of business on October 6, 1997. Certificates reflecting the stock split will be issued on or about October 13, 1997.

Approval of the proposal to increase authorized stock and the proposal to decrease par value are not contingent upon each other.
