If you planned on buying back 15 million shares (20%) of your stock do you really think it would be wise to have a pep-rally for a conference call. I surely wouldn't, why drive the stock up before you can start your repurchase. Maybe this was the objective last quarter, after all they just repurchased 450,000 shares (last Qtr)@ an average price of 36.22 - that's $7.5 million worth of shareholder value that they just made for LT shareholders, not bad!
