CNOOC, partners supply gas to PT PLN JAKARTA, May 18 (UPI) -- China's oil and gas firm CNOOC Ltd. and six partners began delivering gas to Indonesia's state electricity company PT PLN, Xinhua reported Thursday. The delivery was made through a 53-mile sub-marine pipeline. CNOOC's Indonesian subsidiary, CNOOC South East Sumatra, will supply 50 billion British thermal units of gas per day to the 750 megawatt power plant in Cilegon, West Java, in the first year and is expected to deliver 80 BBTU per day afterward, Xinhua reported. The other partners in the project are Inpex Sumatra Ltd., KNOC Sumatra Ltd., Orchard Energy Sumatra BV, Fortuna Resources (Sunda) Ltd., Talisman UK (Southeast Sumatra) Ltd. and Talisman Resources (Bahamas) Ltd.
