You're right about Gore doing better without liberman than with him. I've said that more than once on these threads.

One of the things which the republicans do so much better than the democrats is defining what is relevant and should be discussed and what is not. They had a few little silly things on Gore and Kerry but for every thing they had on them the democrats had at least 5 on junior. You never heard about junior's negatives during the campaigns. When sludge made up the thing about Kerry and the intern it was on TV all day long for about 13 days straight before it was proven false and then dropped. Look at all the mileage the republicans got out of the silly and false story about Gore saying he invented the internet too.

TV coverage of things anti-democrat will be covered wall to wall for days on end and anything negative about junior is given very little to no coverage. Even now when there are son many things which would be talked about constantly if Bill Clinton had done them TV mentions them and moves on. If major media ever grows a backbone and decides they are no longer afraid of junior and his henchmen it will be the beginning of the end for him. They have given junior special treatment ever since he declared he was running for president back in the 90's. I don't know if it is mostly out of fear or greed, probably a combination of both.
