They reports I have read a peppered with words like "may" , "perhaps","possibly",etc. Nobody really knows at this point whether 0.18 micron is possible on a mass volume production line or not. However this also applies to the Cymer product, which at this time is producing a wavelength (248 nm) not much different than the MicroscanII (250 nm). The difference is that Cymer has more theoretical potential for shorter wavelengths. IMHO, semiconductor makers will eventuall have to go to Cymer, but they will put it off as long as possible. good investing luke
