he's an AMD investor If he was as smart as you he wouldn't be, certainly not after 4:30pm yesterday. He can't let it all be good news, now can he? Why not? He could see the handwriting on the wall and said he is going 100% Core2. But he can't do that can he, because he can't get enough chips to do that. As for yield, yes he probably doesn't know the percent of good die per wafer. All he know is there is a significant business risk that he won't get enough Core2 to meet his needs. The total yield out of the INTC fabs is his concern. Add to that the intelligent inference that the Core2 chips are cache heavy which, negatively affect percent yield. So I maintain: He has a Clue, contrary to your assertion. -Magrathea
