I disagree with that. I think the small number of people polled misrepresent the American community. I think Nagin and Blanco far and away bear the brunt of the responsibility. The feds have some, but they are not the first stop shop for responding to state problems.

Nagin is up for re-election. If he gets re-elected, New Orleans deserves whatever happens to it. He's proven he wasn't ready for the protection of his own city.
