Sooner or later all liberals start to grow up <g>.

I didn't feel all that great this morning so I took a day off.....

I've been thoroughly distracted lately trying to learn this piece of music for classical guitar. It's an awesomely beautiful Fantasia by Sylvius Leopold Weiss. Weiss was arguably the greatest Lutist of the early 1700s and an accomplished composer to boot.
This Fantasia starts out with these loosely woven arpeggiated chords, a page worth, the phrasing of which I'll be working on the rest of my life <g>. There are no measure marks so tempo is in the air. Then time changes from common to 2/2 and it goes into this wonderful counterpoint that'd remind you of Bach (no insult intended Sylvius). This work fingers like a Bach piece too, lots of 4 fret stretches. To say the least this piece is over my head, of course if you don't continually try harder music, you get nowhere.
