The education system in the US is falling down

Is it? Or is it just failing to keep up. I'm not sure our education system is any worse than it was 5 or 10 years ago. That doesn't mean that it is good enough. If it starts out at too low of level it doesn't have to fall to remain at too low of level.

Exaggerated I think. Yes there is too much spending, and yes it might lead to problems but bankruptcy really isn't in the cards unless further negative changes happen.
