5/19/06 Update
The carnage continued last week. As of today's close, the Nasdaq Biotech Index is down -6.92% YTD (vs. -4.05% at its 5/12/06 close). The median for all 40 Charity portfolios is now down -3.77% YTD while it showed a slight gain a week ago.
RKRW's portfolio remains in the lead, but its YTD gain has shrunk considerably. It finished the week up 34.1% (vs. 43.5% YTD at its 5/12/06 close). Wilder's portfolio is still No. 2, up 26% YTD.
As of their 5/19 week's close, 25 of the 40 Charity portfolios were in the red YTD, with 23 outperforming the Nasdaq Biotech Index.
