To all: STM added to CAC 40: Monday September 22 1:30 PM EDT Fr. Tel, SGS Thomson to join CAC 40 on Nov 12 - SB PARIS, Sept 22 (Reuter) - Shares in France Telecom (FTE.PA) and SGS Thomson Microelectronics (STM) (STM.PA) will join the French CAC 40 index of blue-chip shares on November 12, the Societe des Bourses Francaises (SBF) said in a statement on Monday. The SBF said Bouygues (BOUY.PA) and Pernod-Ricard (PERP.PA) would be taken off the index to make room for the two new stocks. The SBF also saidthat, ``France Telecom will be weighted in the index by all the shares making up its capital.'' ------------------------------------------------------------------------ More news for referenced ticker symbols: STM, and related categories and industries: telecommunications, international.
