Thanks for posting that article. Don Cooper may be "unheralded" in New York, but not in Chicago. There were rumors floating around that the Yankees were interested in Cooper, so the White Sox extended his contract for another three years. Aside from the money, who would want to be under the microscope of the New York media.

Hernandez was very instrumental in helping Contreras settle down last year. El Duque's three inning stint against the Red Sox in the playoffs was one of my favorite moments from last year.

I actually think that the Sox are better balanced than last year. As much as I miss Aaron Rowand, Jim Thome is a God.

Buehrle vs. Maddux today. Two class acts. Two hours and seven minutes. As much as I dislike the Cubs, I hate to see Maddux lose.

The Cubs need to clean house at the top, starting with McPhail, Hendry and Baker. Baker ruins arms.
