Now that I have a good bit of life under my belt, and looking back, two things became clear that surprised me.

1) How few people really have an intense curiosity about their existance. We have all this science telling us much of what we learned and beleive is incorrect and yet we look right past it?

2) How many of my liberal friends (whom I expect a lot from) put money, power and status above serious ethical considerations?

I expected wisdom and compassion-lol.
