Criticism of Opus Dei started not long after it was founded. Most, if not all, the criticism came from the Jesuits. Present day critics draw on that early criticism, there isn't anything new to say.

20th century Jesuits bear little resemblance to the organization founded by Ignatius Loyola. They've been trying to undermine the Church since at least the 20s, greatly accelerating the pace in the 60s. Every time you read about a machine gun toting Marxist priest in Central America, he was a Jesuit.
